I can not imagine putting Shawn on the pl...Oh wow! I can not imagine putting Shawn on the plane to go to war. It was hard for me every time I put him on the plane to go to Tennessee. I never cried in front of him except on Christmas. But I would watch as the plane took off and then go to my car and cry. Or if mom or dad were with me I would wait until I got home. While you were describing singing to Emma like you did to your 5 babies I remembered the special times when it was just Shawn and I late at night singing to him, rocking him, cuddling. He is the best cuddler ever. <br />You were a great mom and it's proof that they still depend on you. Sure there are things we probably should have done differently but for the most part we should be very proud of the young men and woman we have raised. <br /><br />You really should publish some of these. You speak right to the heart.
